Job summary

System One is seeking a Data Governance Professional in Plano, TX for a permanent full-time, hybrid role combining onsite presence with remote work. You will help develop and implement governance for third parties, improve data inventories, and support privacy and RIM programs in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

3-6 years of experience in data governance, privacy, compliance, or related data management roles.
Solid understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and/or other laws) and data classifications like CPNI and SPI.
Ability to review technical documents and contracts for impact on third party data transfers.

Responsibilities

Assist in development, implementation, and adoption of data governance related to third parties.
Enhance third party data inventory system and process.
Support certification processes for new third party transfers.
Facilitate enterprise data governance, data inventory, data protection, and records and information management programs.
Support privacy compliance activities related to third party data sharing and vendor risk management.
