Qualifications

• Experience testing database components.
• Experience applying industry testing methodologies.
• Analyze design docs and requirements; identify gaps in design and business requirements.
• Design logical test plans, write and execute test scripts, document results.
• Experience with testing FTB tax systems or similar apps using DB2, SQL Server, Java/Pega, and web services.
• Familiarity with testing tools: IBM DataStage, Test Hub, Azure DevOps, FileZilla.
• Experience creating XML data and writing SQL queries.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask.
• Interest in test automation and excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Test database components and track defects.
• Translate requirements into test cases and scripts.
• Develop and execute test scripts; document results and issues.
• Collaborate with IT partners to troubleshoot defects and implement fixes.
• Prepare decision documents and recommend cost-effective solutions and process improvements.
