Job summary

SQRL in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician for a hybrid onsite/remote role in a closed-door long-term care pharmacy.

You will enter prescription orders quickly and accurately, adjudicate insurance claims, and support the Intake department while communicating with care communities by phone and email. Illinois license is required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with 4% match, PTO and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician license/certification required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare data entry or medical records experience.
• Long-term care, managed care, or pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders into pharmacy systems quickly and accurately.
• Maintain patient information and profiles.
• Answer calls and emails; provide professional customer service.
• Adjudicate prescription insurance claims.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support workflow.
• Complete required training and compliance courses.
