Securian Financial is seeking a Data Engineer Sr Analyst to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines enabling AI, advanced analytics, and enterprise use cases. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and tech teams to deliver trusted, secure data solutions with strong governance.

The role includes mentoring teammates, evolving architectures, and maintaining data security.

Qualifikationen

• 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on, professional experience working in Data Engineering.
• Experience with ETL, SQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake).

Aufgaben

• Design, build and optimize data pipelines and transformations enabling AI, advanced analytics, and other enterprise use cases.
• Research, recommend, implement, and drive changes to evolve architecture and patterns to meet quickly changing data requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, technology teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver data solutions that excite stakeholders and deliver business value.
• Mentor and consult with team members and other areas to ensure best practices and optimal data solutions are implemented.
• Leverage data governance and data security tooling, processes, and principles to ensure data is secure, easy to find, trusted, and accessible.
• Devise technical solutions to drive business outcomes based on an understanding of customers, business processes and technical requirements.
