Job summary
Securian Financial Group is seeking an experienced Manager, Data Platform & AI Engineering to lead Data Platform and AI Engineers in delivering enterprise data and AI capabilities. Qualifications
- 7+ years in software, data, platform, cloud, or AI engineering.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Experience leading delivery and operational support for enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Data Platform and AI Engineers with accountability and collaboration.
- Drive successful delivery of platform, data, and AI initiatives with priorities and risks managed.
- Oversee day-to-day platform operations, incident response, and service reliability.
- Manage capacity planning, staffing strategies, and workforce development.
- Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and knowledge transfer.
- Lead platform upgrades, modernization, lifecycle management, and production readiness.
- Establish engineering standards, practices, and quality expectations.
