Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of commissioning experience on electrical systems.
• At least 5 years of experience on data center projects, including at least one Integrated Systems Test.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of data center power distribution, protection and coordination, UPS, batteries, and generators.
• Ability to develop test scripts and procedures and interpret diagrams and sequences of operation.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and IEEE and NETA testing standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings clearly and objectively.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
• Ability to travel 50–75%, work extended site assignments, lift 50 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, specifications, protection studies, and submittals against project requirements.
• Develop commissioning plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria for LV/MV distribution, generators, UPS, PDUs, and EPMS.
• Witness factory acceptance tests and lead site inspections, energization, pre-functional checks, and Level 4 testing.
• Plan and lead the electrical scope of Integrated Systems Testing with load scenarios.
• Review sequences of operation and EPMS integration with the controls engineer.
• Analyze test data and determine if results meet design requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Track deficiencies, report progress to owner and project leadership, and prepare test reports.
• Lead and mentor commissioning technicians and coordinate with contractors and operators.
