Job summary

EEI seeks an Electrical Lead to drive commissioning execution for data centers and high-reliability facilities. You will lead technical teams, oversee testing, and ensure alignment with project requirements and client expectations.

You will serve as a key escalation point, mentoring staff and shaping best practices across the electrical discipline in a hybrid field-office setting. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems, commissioning, facilities operations, engineering, construction, maintenance, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDUs, controls, and related electrical equipment.
• Ability to lead electrical commissioning execution, guide technical teams, and support complex project coordination.
• Advanced understanding of MEP systems, controls, and integrated building operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, commissioning plans, trend data, and technical documentation.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, quality assurance, leadership, communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning documentation tools.
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning execution for systems supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Oversee field execution, functional performance testing, integrated testing support, and closeout activities across assigned scopes.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex electrical system issues and drive practical resolution with project stakeholders.
• Align commissioning activities with project scope, schedule, client expectations, and EEI quality standards.
• Communicate project status, technical findings, risks, recommendations, and follow-up needs with clients and project teams.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and prioritization support for Electrical Support and Senior Specialists.
• Help strengthen safe, consistent, and high-quality commissioning practices across the electrical discipline.
