Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm with a San Francisco team, seeks a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join a large-scale mission-critical construction program.

This hybrid role requires three days in the SF office and monthly travel to Ohio; you will lead estimating, cost reporting, cost control, final accounts and procurement support from bid through close-out, using bid analysis sheets and take-off software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience.
• RICS accreditation is valuable.
• Experience on medium to large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, vet vendor prequalifications, assess bids, and chair interviews.
• Develop and review project estimates including costs, fees and direct work.
• Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reports and forecasts.
