Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for our San Francisco team. This hybrid role requires three days in the SF office and periodic travel to project sites in Ohio.

You will manage cost estimating, reporting, and final accounts on a large-scale, mission-critical program. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in cost management within construction; a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is required with RICS credentials valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation valuable or in progress.
• Experience on medium/large construction projects.
• Experience with mission critical, industrial or large-scale buildings.

Responsibilities

• Develop project estimates for construction, fees and costs.
• Review estimations by junior team members and present to client.
• Lead cost reporting, budgets, and risk registers with project team.
• Oversee cost control, change orders, and contractor entitlements.
• Oversee final accounting, post‑contract audits and closeouts.
• Support handover procedures and training documentation.
