Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking a Lead Associate, Data Analyst to develop and advise on the BOSS dashboards and reports, automate processes, and enforce data controls. The role emphasizes clean data and ensures reporting accuracy, supporting a range of projects within the BOSS portfolio.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, maintaining data dictionaries, and partnering with Data Infrastructure for self-service analytics, with a focus on data governance and secure access.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational experience working with data reporting and visualization through internships, academic projects, or entry‑level professional roles.
• Basic understanding of data concepts such as data governance, data quality, metrics, and reporting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and explain data clearly to non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build Dashboards, Reports, and Automate Processes: maintain and enhance dashboards, define data models, ensure access controls, and automate reporting.
• Data Analysis: identify trends, translate findings into actionable recommendations, support workforce and business decisions.
• Data Stewardship: document data ownership and usage standards, monitor data quality, support governance efforts.
