PGIM Real Estate is hiring a Data Analytics & Governance Analyst/Associate to join the Global Business Enablement team in Newark, NJ (hybrid: onsite three times a week). You will document requirements, trace data lineage, and build datasets using SQL and Power BI, while supporting AI initiatives and data governance across the real estate investment lifecycle.

The role emphasizes data quality, cataloging, and collaboration with stakeholders and technology partners in a modern, AI-enabled data

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in information systems, finance, economics, real estate, data/analytics or related field.
• 1–3 years in data analysis, business analysis, data governance, data quality or reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel; hands-on with Power BI or similar BI tool.
• Familiar with data governance concepts and data catalogs (Purview or similar).
• Ability to write clear documentation and reconcile data across sources.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, define data products and reports with clear acceptance criteria.
• Trace data lineage from source to outputs and document gaps or conflicts.
• Build and maintain analytical datasets using SQL, Power BI and Fabric.
• Validate data assumptions, reconcile results across funds and systems.
• Prepare test cases, log issues, and support QA of data products.
• Create reusable datasets and self-service reports to reduce manual work.
• Prepare data dictionaries and training materials.
