Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Data Governance program within Risk Management to support a high-quality data foundation for global real estate investments. You will work with Dealpath, Reltio, Snowflake, and Power BI to design and test improvements across the data lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business analysis, data, or consulting; real estate exposure is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition.
• Ability to manage competing priorities against deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving: breaks down complex issues into structured solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication with global stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; adapts quickly to new tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day program operations: manage the defect/enhancement log, participate in support calls, and track issues to resolution.
• Validate reported data against source systems to catch discrepancies early.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements: lead discovery sessions with stakeholders, document current- and future-state workflows to resolve data quality issues, and flag opportunities for AI and automation.
• Design and execute test plans for system enhancements, data updates, and reporting outputs (including Power BI dashboards).
• Trace master data issues to root cause through data lineage and deep-dive diagnostics, engaging teams as needed for remediation.
• Maintain core governance artifacts — data definitions, field structures, and business requirements documentation.
