Job summary

RACV in Melbourne seeks a hands-on data engineer to join its Corporate & Member Services division. You’ll design and deliver data pipelines, models and dashboards, transforming diverse data sources into trusted assets for reporting and insights.

You will partner with technology and business teams to ensure solutions align with architecture and roadmap, exploring AI and emerging analytics to drive member and employee outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in data, analytics or technology roles with AI/automation experience.
• Proficient in data modelling, SQL and end-to-end data products.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data solutions including pipelines, models and dashboards.
• Integrate data from diverse sources into trusted assets for reporting.
• Define business problems and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Lead POCs in emerging technologies focusing on data requirements.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data roadmap.
• Assess emerging tech for value, feasibility and risk.
• Embed governance, privacy and quality by design.
• Communicate complex concepts to business and execs.
• Support adoption through documentation and capability building.
• Move solutions from experimentation to business-as-usual.
