Job summary

Cruise Planners is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and operate the data and AI systems powering analytics, advisor-facing products, and internal automation. You’ll work with AWS Glue, Redshift, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, and Bedrock-based tooling, with a small team delivering end-to-end solutions.

The role blends production data engineering and applied AI, using Claude Code on MCP, in a hybrid setup (remote Mondays/Fridays; onsite Tue‑Thu).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred for senior level.
• Experience delivering production data & AI pipelines at scale.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate data pipelines on AWS feeding Redshift.
• Stand up containerized production pipelines on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• Design dimensional data models and analytics marts on Redshift.
• Implement Bedrock Data Automation pipelines and Knowledge Bases.
• Build and deploy Bedrock AgentCore-enabled agents and tools.
• Develop AI-powered data products for reporting and advisor use.
• Deploy services end-to-end on AWS and maintain runbooks and alerts.
