Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant II in the Chicago area to deliver consultative and technical cybersecurity solutions that identify risk, strengthen controls, and improve business IT processes. You will manage engagement portions, work independently, and interact with clients regularly.

Preferred candidates are located in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, or Chicago markets. This is a hybrid role with two in-office days per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, information technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in professional services or 3+ years in private industry focused on cybersecurity/IT.

Responsibilities

• Execute security and risk consulting engagements including social engineering, security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Perform vulnerability assessments of networks, devices, applications, and cloud configurations.
• Conduct social engineering engagements: OSINT, phishing, pretext calling, and physical pen testing.
