Job summary

Wipfli LLP in Milwaukee/Greater Midwest markets seeks a Cybersecurity Consultant II to develop and deliver consultative and technical cybersecurity solutions, manage engagement portions, and interact with clients.

This hybrid role executes security assessments, social engineering, vulnerability testing, and risk reduction while supporting service development and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information security or related field.
• 1+ year in a professional services firm or 3+ years in industry focused on cybersecurity/IT.
• Experience in social engineering exercises including OSINT and phishing.
• Broad IT infrastructure knowledge including cloud, networking, and virtualization.
• Interest in obtaining additional relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute security and risk consulting engagements, including assessments and testing.
• Perform vulnerability assessments of networks, apps, and cloud configurations.
• Conduct social engineering consulting services to gauge employee awareness.
• Align client requirements with standard cybersecurity solutions and offerings.
• Coordinate engagement activities, analyze results, and present findings to management.
• Mentor junior staff and support sales opportunities by identifying needs.
