Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking two Cyber Security Engineers to join a growing cybersecurity program. The role is hybrid, onsite 2-3 days per week in Kenosha, WI, with remote consideration for qualified Midwest candidates. You will tackle security incidents, vulnerability management, and governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on security engineering experience, SIEM/EDR familiarity, and knowledge of Palo Alto technologies. This is a permanent position with competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Manage and optimize SIEM, EDR, and threat detection capabilities.
• Support security operations, monitoring, and incident response activities.
• Assist with security awareness and phishing simulation programs.
• Contribute to security governance initiatives and framework alignment.
