Job summary

Tetrabolt LLC seeks a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to support enterprise security infrastructure in a federal government context. You will implement, configure, and optimize security technologies, integrate SIEM systems, and troubleshoot complex security issues in a hybrid Washington, DC environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, system hardening, and automation to enhance security capabilities and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140 requirements or ability to satisfy the qualification requirements.
• Hands-on experience configuring and administering enterprise security infrastructure.
• Experience with security tooling integration via APIs and automation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and remediate cyber threats in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls, security gateways, VPNs, and network security policies.
• Engineer, configure, and maintain Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel integrations.
• Develop log ingestion pipelines, data connectors, parsing rules, dashboards, alerts, and correlation searches.
• Integrate cybersecurity platforms using APIs, scripting, and native connectors.
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and engineering support for cybersecurity incidents.
