The Marlin Alliance is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist/Analyst in San Diego, CA, near Naval Base Pt. Loma, for a full-time hybrid role reporting to the Cybersecurity Team Lead. You will deliver security and engineering SME support focused on C5ISR resiliency and waveform security.

The position requires a BS in a technical field, 1–5 years in cybersecurity, RMF/SCG familiarity, SDR/waveform and RF knowledge, and DoD lifecycle exposure; ability to travel to the NSA, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Applied Science, Computing or a related technical discipline.
• 1–5 years of cybersecurity experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RMF and SCG.
• Knowledge of SDRs, waveforms and RF concepts.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle policies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Security Analysis: perform Cyber Resiliency analysis on waveform candidates for SDRs and ensure security requirements are met.
• Technical Support & Collaboration: support system security engineering and RMF processes for tactical radio overlays.
• Documentation & Reporting: contribute to white papers, reports, and SOP updates; assist weekly status updates.
