Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in San Diego, CA for a contingent position. The role covers the RMF lifecycle from system categorization to SSP/SAP development, POA&Ms, and ongoing risk reporting to ISSMs and stakeholders.

You will implement NIST 800-53 controls, review STIGs/SRGs, and coordinate with engineering teams. A DoD RMF background and active clearance are highly valued, with travel up to 10% and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years plus in the cybersecurity field.
• DoD RMF experience in the ISSE role using eMASS.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 controls, SAPs, and POA&Ms.
• Good communication skills to advise stakeholders on security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates to the ISSM for RMF authorization status.
• Track cybersecurity risks and report to ISSM and engineering teams.
• Assist with data calls, TASKORDS/OPORDS, and update POA&Ms.
• Support compliance issues with ISSM.
