Innovative Defense Technologies in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Cyber System Engineer to lead cybersecurity accreditation for Navy programs, support RMF implementation, and ensure continuous monitoring across DoD systems. The role is primarily on-site with a hybrid workplace in the San Diego area.

Qualified candidates will hold a DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification and have 10+ years of Cybersecurity or Systems Engineering experience within the DIB, with RMF expertise and strong CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information assurance, CS, IT, or equivalent.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM) certification.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity or systems engineering in the DIB with RMF mastery.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity accreditation activities including ATO and RMF implementation.
• Design secure architectures for autonomous systems and AI platforms.
• Automate RMF and cATO processes and manage RMF artifacts.
• Coordinate with Navy officials and perform vulnerability management.
