Job summary

Safety National is seeking a Cyber Underwriter in San Francisco to expand the Cyber Insurance Practice. You will underwrite new and renewal business, build broker and client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to shape underwriting strategy.

The role emphasizes evaluating complex cyber risks, pricing, retentions, and coverage terms, with a strong cross-functional partner network and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent insurance underwriting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to analyze complex Cyber risks, exposures, and loss history.
• Experience underwriting both new and renewal business with pricing, retention, limits and terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation with brokers and clients.
• Ability to collaborate across underwriting, claims, legal, and business development.
