Job summary

ISI Defense is seeking a Cyber Ops Engineer I to join our growing cybersecurity team supporting customers across the Defense Industrial Base. You will deploy, maintain, and support cybersecurity technologies while collaborating with SOC, MSP Operations, Compliance, and Engineering.

You will strengthen customers' security postures through proactive operations, technical expertise, and a focus on white-glove service, with a flexible hybrid work schedule and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity/IT.
2–4 years of cybersecurity/IT operations or MSP experience.
Experience deploying and supporting security technologies across environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions across customer environments.
Support endpoint, IAM, email, cloud, and security monitoring technologies.
Investigate and resolve security incidents and service requests.
Perform security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Assist onboarding new customers and ensuring cybersecurity standards.
Support compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, and DIB requirements.
Maintain documentation and operational procedures.
Collaborate with SOC, compliance, and MSP operations to deliver security services.
Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
