Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years legal experience in data privacy or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (State, HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents.
• Analysis of state, federal, and international data breach laws.
• Drafting breach notices to individuals and regulators.
• Responding to regulatory investigations related to data breaches.
• Oversight of forensics investigations and third-party vendors.
• Advising clients on notification obligations under applicable laws.
• Drafting crisis communications for clients.
• Interfacing with clients, including senior management and IT staff.
