Job summary

Bil-Jax is seeking a Customer Service & Operations professional in Archbold, OH, to manage assigned customer accounts and support sales growth. You will serve as the primary contact for orders, inquiries, and issue resolution, leveraging product knowledge and ERP/CRM systems to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hybrid work with on-site days in Archbold and occasional remote work approval, collaboration with internal teams, and a focus on accuracy and profitability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years customer service or sales experience in industrial, commercial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, shipping, engineering and production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM system experience and data integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong prioritization and follow-up.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers, handling orders and inquiries.
• Manage end-to-end order process, inventory checks, delivery dates, and special orders.
• Review and issue product returns and credits; document requests.
• Make calls to develop new and deepen existing customer relationships.
• Resolve complex issues promptly with a customer-focused approach.
• Maintain customer data and activities in CRM/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill orders and support customers.
• Follow pricing policies and margin targets; provide product/service information.
• Pursue ongoing training and stay current on products and industry best practices.
