Job summary

Bil-Jax, located near Archbold, OH, is seeking an experienced Customer Service/Operations professional to manage assigned accounts, handle orders, inquiries, and issue resolutions with a focus on exceptional service and sales support. You will build strong customer relationships, leverage product knowledge, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and profitability.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills and offers a hybrid schedule with on-site days

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred, with related manufacturing exposure.
• At least 2 years in customer service or sales in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience coordinating with sales, shipping, engineering and production.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems and maintaining data integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communications, prioritization and follow up.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced product and service information and responds to complex customer questions.
• Manages the full order process from PO to delivery dates and coordination of special orders.
• Reviews and issues product returns and credit memos.
• Calls customers to develop new and deepen existing relationships and resolves queries.
• Responds to complex issues promptly with a customer-focused approach.
• Uses CRM to maintain customer data and support business development activities.
• Maintains strong communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Follows policies for pricing and margins; uses Excel/ERP to manage orders and shipments.
• Pursues training and stays updated on regulations and best practices.
