Job summary

Haulotte Bil-Jax is seeking a Freight, Logistics & Billing Specialist to support shipping, invoicing, and logistics operations in Archbold, Ohio. The role requires 3-5 years in freight/logistics, with a manufacturing background and strong ERP/Excel capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, transportation, customer service, billing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of freight terms, transportation modes, and shipping documentation.
• Experience auditing and processing freight invoices.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience using ERP systems. Epicor experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate delays, exceptions, and delivery updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Investigate and resolve freight discrepancies, claims, shortages, damages, and carrier issues.
• Partner with Shipping to improve freight processes and reduce costs.
• Audit freight invoices and resolve billing issues promptly.
• Prepare logistics, freight, and cost-analysis reports for management.
• Support month-end closing with accurate freight and billing records.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
