Hawaiian Electric Companies in Honolulu–Oahu seeks a Customer Care Representative to support customers across phone, fax, US Mail, in person and online channels, handling billing inquiries, payments, deposits and other service needs with professionalism and care. This full-time, non-exempt role is hybrid (2 days in office) with a wage of $29.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must pass the Edison Electric Institute Customer Service Representative Test Battery.
• Ability to type a minimum of 45 w.p.m. (to be determined by company administered test).
• Must have at least 3 years of customer-facing customer service experience.
• Must communicate effectively verbally through customer handling test or interview.

Responsabilités

• Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, fax, US Mail, in person, and online with professionalism.
• Apply service standards and resolve inquiries on the first contact.
• Provide clear information about products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Update account information and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer requests timely.
