Leading international AmLaw 25 law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Technology Transactions & Digital Assets Practice Group in Dallas, focusing on cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions. The role offers hybrid work, exposure to high-profile deals, and mentorship from top practitioners.

The candidate will advise fintech, digital asset and tech companies, draft complex agreements, and collaborate across multiple practices to support innovative product launches.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 2-5 years of experience in technology transactions (preferably at a law firm).
• Experience advising technology, fintech, blockchain, or digital asset companies.
• Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Familiarity with commercial, intellectual property, data rights, and risk allocation issues.
• Exposure to cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks and compliance is beneficial.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple matters.
• Comfortable in fast-paced entrepreneurial client environments.
• Familiarity with emerging legal tech and AI tools.
• Collaborative team player with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and document complex technology and commercial transactions involving blockchain and cryptocurrency.
• Counsel digital asset and blockchain companies on legal, regulatory, intellectual property, and risk management considerations.
• Support clients through development and launch of innovative products and technology platforms.
• Analyze transaction structures and identify practical solutions to complex business and legal challenges.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, regulatory, intellectual property, tax, finance, and litigation practices.
• Work directly with founders, executives, investors, and in-house legal teams on strategic initiatives.
