Law Firm (AmLaw 25) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Technology Transactions & Digital Assets Practice Group in a hybrid role across multiple cities, including Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will handle sophisticated cryptocurrency and blockchain technology transactions and advise innovative companies and investors on licensing, platform agreements, and commercial contracts.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in technology transactions, a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction.
• 2–5 years of technology transactions and commercial contracting experience.
• Experience advising technology, fintech, blockchain, or digital asset companies.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple matters.
• Familiarity with emerging legal tech, AI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and document complex technology and commercial transactions involving blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
• Advise on licensing, platform agreements, SaaS, and commercial contracts.
• Counsel on legal, regulatory, IP, and risk management considerations.
• Support development and launch of innovative products and technology platforms.
• Analyze transaction structures and identify practical solutions to complex business and legal challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-practice attorneys in corporate, regulatory, IP, tax, finance, and litigation.
• Work directly with founders, executives, investors, and in-house teams on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor developments in crypto, blockchain, fintech regulation to guide clients.
