Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of credit experience, ideally in a public company with at least 1,000 employees.
• 2+ years of credit analyst experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
• Be self-motivated and an effective time and project manager with a strong attention to detail.
• Have strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.
• Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects and implement high quality solutions.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and analytical skills with the ability to directly manage and communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies.
• Possess strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Runs Credit Bureaus, Paynet and Lexis Nexis and OFAC reports.
• Provides timely communications & decisions making to sales reps/teams.
• Helps perform commercial credit analysis by reviewing credit reports, financial statements, tax returns, appraisals and environmental reports.
• Assists with preparing and analyzing spreads of a company’s financial statements to determine credit strengths and weaknesses.
• Updates credit on existing files.
• Prepares vendor files for review by manager.
• Assists other departments with their duties.
• Provides additional office support, including data entry, answering calls, and filing.
