Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Medical Staff Services Coordinator to manage initial appointments and contribute to credentialing processes within the medical staff office. The role offers a hybrid schedule with expectations to be onsite weekly.

You will coordinate credentialing and privileging for medical and allied health staff, prepare documents, and support contract management, scheduling and billing programs. CMSC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in credentialing or medical staff coordination.
• Associate's degree preferred (Business or related field).
• CMSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff members and allied health providers.
• Prepare credentialing documents and review applications to ensure privileges meet requirements.
• Administer and coordinate contract management, scheduling and billing programs.
• Process medical staff status changes.
• Provide medical staff education and facilitate meetings related to credentialing.
