PenFed Credit Union in New York, NY on a hybrid schedule is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Lending Associate. You will build and analyze property cash flows, use Argus Enterprise, and prepare credit memoranda to support underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities span underwriting, asset management, and market analytics across multiple property types. A strong Excel skill set and CRE lending experience are essential; the role reports to the Senior Manager of Credit Underwriting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field.
• 2–6 years of CRE lending or related credit/analytic functions.
• Advanced Excel-based financial modeling and portfolio analytics.
• Experience with Argus Enterprise preferred; exposure to market data tools a plus.
• Proficient MS Office; AI tools experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting and analysis of CRE loans across property types, typically $15M–$50M.
• Conduct property and market due diligence including rent rolls and operating statements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed property cash flow models and sensitivity analyses.
• Use Argus Enterprise to review and sensitize financials and valuation assumptions.
• Assist with credit memoranda, underwriting analyses, and loan approvals.
• Support asset management with loan-level reviews and covenant monitoring.
• Produce market-level analytics and portfolio dashboards.
