Job summary
PenFed Credit Union in Tysons, VA or New York, NY is seeking a Hybrid Commercial Real Estate Lending Associate to support underwriting and asset management with advanced Excel models and Argus Enterprise.
You will prepare and analyze loan-level cash flows, conduct market research, and draft credit memoranda for senior management, with opportunities to contribute across portfolio analytics and risk monitoring.
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel-based financial modeling for property cash flows and loan sizing.
- Experience with Argus Enterprise and market data tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Support underwriting and analysis of CRE loans across multiple property types.
- Build and sensitize property-level cash flows and loan-level analyses in Excel.
- Review third-party reports and conduct market due diligence.
- Prepare credit memoranda and recommendations for approval.
- Perform portfolio analytics and market research to monitor risk.
- Assist with property site visits and diligence meetings.
