Job summary

Bisnow, a leading CRE media platform, seeks a dynamic events professional based in New York City or Philadelphia. This hybrid role requires 3-4 days in the office and occasional travel about once a month.

You will identify speakers, craft compelling conference content, recruit C-level executives, and work with sales to secure sponsorships while delivering outstanding attendee experiences across multiple events.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of data center knowledge/experience
• Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time-sensitive deadlines
• Great teammate with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on, roll up your sleeves work ethic and tenacity
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key people in CRE
• Commitment to accuracy, quality, consistency and transparency

Responsibilities

• Identify potential speakers and establish contact with said individuals; persistently recruit prospects using phone and email
• Educate potential speakers on why it makes sense to spend their time speaking at one of your events
• With your team, build from scratch and then manage the event experience, researching content ideas and recruiting C-level executives
• Collaborate with sales to drive sponsorship and manage the event experience throughout the process
• Establish partnerships with associations and local groups to promote Bisnow and attendance
• Diligently research CRE topics and top speakers for your events
• Manage speaker relations from idea to day-of execution
• Provide excellent service to event speakers and sponsors
• Lead pre- and post-event meetings guiding teams
• Seek innovative solutions to improve content and attendee experience
• Brainstorm fresh topics to adapt to industry trends
• Maintain cross-department communication on events status
• Work with other departments to achieve goals
• Manage multiple events at various production stages with strong organization
