Job summary

Bisnow is seeking a results-driven events professional with a strong interest in commercial real estate to join our team. The hybrid role requires 3-4 days per week in the office in NYC or Philadelphia, with occasional travel about once a month.

You will identify and recruit speakers, design engaging conference experiences, and collaborate with sales to drive sponsorships while coordinating cross-department efforts to deliver high-impact events.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of data center knowledge/experience.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven with strong project management and meticulous organizational skills.
• Ability to manage, develop and launch multiple projects under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Great teammate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on, roll up your sleeves work ethic. Tenacity is expected.
• The ability to establish and maintain relationships with key people in CRE.
• Commitment to accuracy, quality, consistency and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential speakers & establish contact with said individuals; persisting recruit prospects using phone and email.
• Educate potential speakers on why it makes sense to speak at one of your events.
• With your team, build from scratch and then manage the event experience, including researching content ideas, recruiting executives, and coordinating sponsorships.
• Work with different departments to reach ambitious goals and support the sales team in achieving shared goals.
• Utilize and establish contacts within the CRE community to promote Bisnow and event attendance.
• Diligently research CRE topics and top-notch speakers for your events.
• Manage speaker relations from idea to day-of execution.
• Provide excellent service and communication to event speakers & sponsors.
• Lead pre and post-event meetings with direction and feedback to involved parties.
• Brainstorm innovative content ideas to improve attendee experience and adapt to trends.
• Keep communication lines open across departments on event statuses.
• Collaborate with other departments and manage multiple events in various stages.
