Job summary

ALL Crane Rental of Alabama, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician and Mechanic to service cranes and heavy equipment in Theodore, Alabama. This full-time, non-exempt role includes a comprehensive benefits package and a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of employment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of cranes and heavy trucks, reading manuals and blueprints, and ensuring safety compliance while working with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background.
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
• Manufacturer’s training will be an integral part of this position and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair cranes, heavy-duty trucks, and lift equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department, and customers.
• Prepare documentation of actions taken.
• Able to use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Comply with safety requirements and regulations.
