Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support sales and client partnerships in a hybrid role at our San Antonio area office. You will analyze multi-source data, including retailer POS and Circana/IRI, to evaluate item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering while communicating insights to drive action.

You will collaborate with CPG Category Management teams, develop category presentations, and stay aligned with client KPIs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years related experience in category management or analytics recommended.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
• Experience with syndicated data sources (Circana/IRI) and space management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights and recommendations for category management using retailer POS and Circana/IRI data.
• Work with Retailer POS, Circana/IRI tools to generate actionable insights.
• Develop category presentations incorporating syndicated data.
• Collaborate with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Monitor client KPIs, strategies, and timelines and communicate findings.
• Build relationships with clients to understand deliverables and project timelines.
• Possess knowledge of Category Analyst/Manager Certification as a plus.
