Job summary

Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems seeks an in-house attorney to provide legal assessments and guidance across governance, regulatory, and transactional matters. You will draft and negotiate contracts, support HR and governance policy development, and coordinate with outside counsel on financing and transmission projects.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in good standing
• Meets continuing legal education requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide legal assessments, interpretations, and recommendations on a variety of legal issues to internal clients
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, MSAs, NDAs, and other contracts
• Support governance materials and compliance initiatives for GRAMA and public governance requirements
• Coordinate with outside counsel to support organizational objectives and project development and financing transactions
