Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Corporate Counsel in Winchester, KY to join a growing energy provider's legal team in a hybrid, permanent role. The position focuses on commercial contracting, regulatory matters, and strategic transactions.

You will draft and negotiate EPCs, PPAs, and related agreements; counsel on board matters; advise on statutory and corporate rights; and coordinate with external counsel and regulatory filings as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar license in Kentucky (KY).
• Minimum five years of contract/transactional legal experience.
• Experience before state and federal tribunals and courts is preferred.
• Experience in matters involving contract law.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across business functions, including contracting, procurement, project development, and risk management.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates major contracts and real property transactions (EPC, PPAs, technology, government contracts).
• Review and advise on board matters; attend meetings and report on legal issues.
