Job summary

Actalent in Tulsa, OK seeks a Cost Analyst to coordinate project team activities and support Project Managers with project logistics. The role partners with PMs to ensure accurate cost tracking, budget variance explanations, and timely financial reporting across multiple projects.

You will prepare cost projections, assist in bid processes, manage work orders, and collaborate with engineers, designers and supply chain to optimize project spend while complying with SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in construction management, engineering, accounting, or business.
• 0–3 years of experience working on project budgets, projections, and cost tracking/analysis.
• Proficiency with MS Office and cost-tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost re-projections and budget variance explanations for project spending.
• Prepare contract requisitions and participate in the bidding process.
• Coordinate the work order process related to a project from creation to closing.
• Coordinate project meetings and support PM with planning, pre-bid, and status meetings; assist in PLMP, Communication Plan, and other documentation.
• Coordinate project logistics (temporary facilities, permits, lay down yards).
• Prepare cash flow projections and budget variance monitoring; support SOX activities.
• Track, analyze and submit information for un-vouchered liabilities and billable work orders.
• Create contract requisitions and assist in RFP and scope of work preparations; assist in bid evaluations and contract awarding.
• Coordinate the work order process including journal entries and Major Plant in Service reports.
• Will work under supervision of higher level Project Coordinators.
