Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead complex cost allocation governance, pricing analysis, and regulatory compliance across major product lines. You’ll drive improvements, mentor analysts, and partner with internal customers to optimize costs and value.

You’ll apply GAAP, CAS, FAR, and FEHBAR expertise, shaping policies, and guiding system-wide cost accounting initiatives while delivering clear financial insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 8+ years of cost accounting experience in health care insurance.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, CAS, FAR, and FEHBAR is required.
• Experience leading teams and driving process improvements in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, analysis and reporting of financial data for pricing and monitoring major lines of business and products.
• Provide input to cost allocation policies and ensure compliance with corporate/regulatory policies.
• Direct timely preparation of regulatory reports, forecasts and operating plans; train staff.
• Review operating expense allocations and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with outside auditors, regulators and customers on financial issues.
• Motivate staff and drive ongoing process improvements within the cost organization.
• Lead and coordinate system conversions and/or consolidations of financial systems.
