Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 8+ years of cost accounting experience in health care insurance.
• Licenses/certs: CPA preferred; strong knowledge of GAAP, CAS, FAR, FEHBAR.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical ability, strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leads the creation, analysis and reporting of financial data for pricing and monitoring major lines of business and products.
• Provides input into development and revision of cost allocation policies and processes.
• Directs timely and accurate preparation of regulatory reports, forecasts and operating plans; trains staff.
