Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant III/IV/Sr I to join our Cost Accounting team. The role supports GAAP, SAP and cost allocation processes, with responsibilities across journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting and ad-hoc analyses.

This hybrid position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and 3–6+ years of experience, with CPA/CMA/MBA preferred. Work location includes Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston or Salt Lake City

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• Accountant III/IV/Sr I require progressively more experience as listed.
• GAAP, SAP, CAS, FAR, FEHBAR knowledge applicable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Gathers, validates and summarizes accounting data for analyses.
• Maintains cost accounting allocation tables using labor data.
• Prepares admin cost and budget reports; investigates variances.
• Handles invoicing, marketing incentive worksheets and cross-training.
• Cooperates with plans/departments; assists auditors with docs.
• Analyzes cost trends; updates allocation tables; supports forecasts.
• Researches accounting standards; presents analyses to management.
• Coordinates financial systems updates; tests enhancements.
• Mentors new team members and supports junior accountants.
