Job summary

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is seeking a Manager of Corporate Support to boost contributed revenue from corporations and steward corporate partners. This role helps drive over $1.5 million annually through the Corporate Member Program, EITC funding, and tailored sponsorships.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in institutional fundraising, with strong communication, project management, and CRM experience. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• At least two years of institutional fundraising experience, preferably in the performing arts
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with project management tools
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with at least one CRM database
• Proactive, self-driven, positive team-player who performs well under pressure
• Ability and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and/or weekends when necessary

Responsibilities

• Oversee PSO’s Corporate Member Program: design collateral, write 3-4 direct mail campaigns per year, grant proposals as needed.
• Manage benefits fulfillment and stewardship of Corporate Partners, track obligations and ensure sponsor deliverables.
• Prepare Institutional grant proposals/reports and sponsorship pitch decks.
• Serve as point person for EITC program and annual application to maintain eligibility.
• Manage the annual calendar of solitations, proposals, reports, events, and communications.
• Maintain Tessitura database: gift entry, acknowledgment letters, plans, reporting, data maintenance.
• Manage Dining Partners program with Patron Services.
• Assist in researching and cultivating businesses to grow corporate investment.
• Participate in occasional Development fundraising and events.
