Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Manager-Corporate Communications Programs to lead a team responsible for translating strategy into integrated communications, content, and measurable outcomes. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, content marketing, thought leadership, public relations, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience coaching cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience developing and managing integrated communications programs from concept through execution.
• Proven project and program management skills with multiple priorities.
• Experience developing performance metrics and evaluating communications effectiveness.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong budget and vendor management experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Leads the Corporate Communications Programs team, establishing priorities, coaching team members, managing workloads, and aligning programs with strategy and messaging.
• Owns the Corporate Communications editorial calendar, content planning, and communications pipeline to ensure high-quality content across channels.
• Develops and manages integrated communications projects, schedules, and budgets supporting leadership communications, sustainability, research, speaking engagements, media partnerships, and more.
• Serves as a senior writer and editor for executive communications, thought leadership, speeches, and corporate storytelling assets.
• Partners with senior leaders and cross-functional Marketing teams to maximize reach and business impact of programs.
• Leads sustainability communications, including the annual Sustainability Report and related activities.
• Establishes measurable goals and analyzes results to improve program effectiveness and business impact.
• Acts as a trusted advisor, coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with priorities.
• Maintains understanding of business priorities and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
