Job summary

Alutiiq Professional Consulting, LLC seeks a Senior Buyer - Corporate in Anchorage to lead strategic sourcing for corporate and indirect spend. You will manage the procurement lifecycle, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure compliant, cost-effective purchasing across functions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years in procurement, ERP experience (Deltek CostPoint preferred), and strong Excel/Office 365 skills. This is a hybrid position located in Anchorage, AK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years procurement/sourcing experience preferred.
• U.S. citizen.
• Experience supporting corporate/indirect procurement.
• Strong negotiation of supplier contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement principles and supplier management.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient ERP/purchasing systems; Deltek CostPoint preferred.
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint/Office 365 skills.
• Experience sourcing IT software/SaaS, professional services, HR services, facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for corporate and indirect spend.
• Manage procurement lifecycle from requisition to PO.
• Develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, risk.
• Run RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and evaluate proposals.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and award recommendations.
• Maintain strong supplier partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, IT Security for contracts.
• Ensure compliance with policies and ethical sourcing.
• Maintain procurement documentation and assist audits.
• Track savings and report benefits.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency.
