Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading monthly, close, and preparing audit-ready financial statements.
• Experience with multi-entity real estate accounting and intercompany eliminations.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close for corporate entities on a defined close calendar.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Coordinate annual corporate audit and tax return with external CPAs; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Supervise and develop corporate staff accountants; set priorities and review work for accuracy.
• Improve close efficiency and reporting accuracy through standardization and automation.
• Partner with department leaders to provide analysis on overhead, fee income, and entity profitability.
