Job summary

Wagner Forest Management, a respected investment management group working with BerryDunn in Lyme, New Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant. The position offers hybrid work after an initial in-office training period and supports the finance team in daily accounting tasks.

The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, journal entries and reconciliations, manage A/R and A/P processes, and assist with financial reporting using Excel and Access.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in general ledger and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of financial statement presentation, internal controls, and corporate and partnership accounting and tax issues.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain workpapers to support financial reporting using Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Communicate with bookkeepers and operations staff regarding accounting matters.
• Coordinate with the Controller and CFO to support priorities.
