We require 1+ years in general ledger and financial reporting, strong Excel/Access skills, and solid analytical abilities. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and potential for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• A degree with 1+ years experience in the areas of general ledger and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of the financial statement presentation and disclosure requirements, internal controls, and corporate and partnership accounting and tax issues.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel formulas and Access databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform day-to-day accounting duties in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and analytical procedures as needed.
• Maintain workpapers to support financial reporting using Excel and Access.
• Communicate with bookkeepers and operations staff on accounting matters.
• Coordinate with Controller and CFO to support priorities.
